Founded in 1942, Fairleigh Dickinson University is proud to celebrate more than 80 years of service to the world! FDU is the largest private, not-for-profit university in the state of New Jersey with over 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students at our Metropolitan and Florham campuses, both conveniently located in the metro New York City area. In addition, FDU has campuses in Vancouver, Canada and Wroxton, England. FDU has over 1,400 international students from over 80 countries and over 100 academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, engineering, business, hospitality management, and more at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. ESL Program and Support Services

FDU offers English support for students who are academically admissible to their program of choice but who have only intermediate English skills. You can read more about our Pre-University Program at www.fdu.edu/pup and our Pre-Master’s Program at www.fdu.edu/pmp. International Student Services Offices, tutoring services, career services, Student Life offices, and student health centers are available on both campuses.

Student Housing Options

Multiple options for on-campus housing are  available for undergraduate and graduate students, but students are not required to live on-campus.

GRE requirements vary by program. Requirements vary according to major; please check the department’s website for more information.

Cost of Attendance

Undergraduate: $51,500/year ($37,000 tuition, $14,500 room/board)

Graduate: $37,000/year ($22,500 tuition, $14,500 room/board)

Merit-based scholarship awards are available to undergraduate international students.

Student Activities and Campus Life

Fairleigh Dickinson University students have more than 100 student clubs and organizations to explore, and the university offers a variety free or discounted trips to New York City with free or discounted tickets to major cultural events, including the New York Philharmonic, museums, Broadway shows, and more!
