Student Demographics

Rutgers University–Camden has approximately 5,800 undergraduate students and 1,600 graduate students currently enrolled. The Rutgers network spans the globe. Admission Requirements

Rutgers accepts the following tests to determine the English proficiency of its international applicants:
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The Rutgers TOEFL code is 2765.
• International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS).
• Duolingo English proficiency test.

Minimum Test Scores

Your scores must be current within two years of the semester to which you are applying and must be submitted directly to Rutgers from the testing service.
• TOEFL: The minimum internet-based TOEFL score is 79.
• IELTS: An acceptable IELTS score is 6 or greater.
• Duolingo English Test: The minimum Duolingo score is 105.

For International undergraduate students:
• Tuition: $28,466
• Fees: $3,034
• Room and Board: $12,691

International Scholarships

Non-sponsored international first-year and transfer students with an F-1 visa are guaranteed $10,000–$15,000 per year through the International Chancellor’s Scholarship. International first-year applicants that receive less than $15,000 per year are also eligible for the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship to make their total scholarship amount $15,000 per year. Scholarships are also available at the graduate level.
